AWARDS
Bracken Public Relations won the PRCA “Best Corporate Public Relations Campaign” award, for its work on behalf of Bank of Scotland (Ireland). The “Bringing Change to Irish Banking” campaign highlighted the lack of competition in Irish banking and barriers to increased competition, by generating extensive and sustained coverage in the national business media.
Another objective of the campaign was to position Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Ltd as the champion of competition in Irish banking by highlighting the Bank’s recommendations for improvement. Support to BOSI marketing efforts was yet another key ingredient in the campaign. In January 2006, Bracken PR handled the launch of the Bank’s retail network, the first completely new retail banking network in Ireland for over a century, – and was again short listed for the PRCA Awards.
In 2007, Bracken PR were again shortlisted for the PRCA Awards for its successful launch of Halifax in Ireland.
Bracken PR continues to work with the Bank of Scotland (Ireland).
Consultancy Management Standard Award
Bracken PR proudly received the CMS Award in 2003, being one of the very first companies to be awarded the prestigious benchmark.
The benchmark was set up by the PRCA to ensure that PRCA members continue to be the best PR consultancies in Ireland, and among the top worldwide. The CMS audit is a requirement of membership; following an internal assessment, an independent external examiner is then invited in to complete the audit.
Bracken PR was independently assessed on ten elements, including training, client satisfaction, service delivery, campaign evaluation, business management and adherence to the PRCA Code of Conduct. Re-assessment takes place every two years to ensure that the high standards demanded by the CMS are maintained. The consultancy must reach a minimum score of 50% in each of the ten steps, and 75% or 270 points overall, to reach the CMS.
