The deal received widespread coverage in the Irish business, medical and technology press.
FÁS
From 1991 to 2001, Bracken PR worked for FAS, the national training and employment authority. On the employment side Bracken PR created the concept of the annual “Opportunities” careers and education fair in the RDS, now the biggest event of its kind in the country. To promote the FÁS role in community development the FÁS Community Initiative Awards were instigated. In both instances, it was an important objective to position FÁS as a catalyst and an innovator.
National Disability Week
In 1999, Bracken PR organised the National Disability Week on behalf of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, aiming to highlight the positive contribution that people with disabilities can offer society and also to raise public awareness of disability issues. The Minister for Disabilities accompanied a disability friendly bus, the focal point of the campaign, which visited venues throughout the country. The campaign was compiled at short notice, together with logos and promotional literature, achieving significant coverage at both local and national level.
Leaving Certificate Applied

The publicity campaign, combined with a series of business breakfasts, provoked a national debate receiving positive responses from all parties involved.
Drugs awareness Programme
In 1997 Bracken PR devised and implemented a major drugs awareness programme that was the most comprehensive campaign of its kind to be undertaken at that time. The programme was run in conjunction with the Voluntary Health Insurance Board and the National Parents Council, distributing 25,000 sets of literature to secondary schools nationwide, followed by a major publicity campaign. “Face to Face” was produced both in Irish and English.
